Elisa 800 VIT - the world’s first fully integrated EIT system introduces a new chapter in intensive care ventilation

Ventilation Integrated Tomography (VIT) is the world’s first fully integrated EIT system in an intensive care ventilator. The non-invasive pulmonary monitoring of the Heinen + Löwenstein elisa 800 VIT visualizes ventilation-related complications for the first time and allows direct therapy to be performed at the intensive care ventilator. As a result, ventilation becomes transparent as well as directly controllable. The introduction of this innovative technology marks a new chapter in intensive care ventilation:

  • Individual lung protection under visual control and easily adjustable ventilation settings provide maximum comfort for intensive care patients
  • By means of the electrical impedance tomography (EIT) technology, lung functions can be displayed instantaneously and ventilation settings adjusted extremely accurately without radiation exposure
  • Identifies and prevents pulmonary collapse associated with the respiratory cycle
  • Offers real-time adjustment options for optimal PEEP
